Iggy Pop - Post Pop Depression

Iggy Pop - Post Pop Depression

I don’t think the truly masterful artists ever diminish enough to release a truly bad album.

In the every one of the later albums of the Beatles (as solo acts), the Rolling Stones, Bowie, David Byrne, and R.E.M. (to name a few), there are enough moments of brilliance for me to deem it  at least “solid”.

And every now and then, they’re reinvigorated with that same spirit that made them brilliant in the first place - and they put out something great again.

Post Pop Depression has that spirit. Listen to it.
