Kvelertak - Nattesferd

Kvelertak has thus far not strayed far from the extreme reaches of rock music until now. On Nattesferd, they go wandering into old fashioned ‘70s hard rock and ‘80s hardcore.

Those influences were always there, but I’m sure the softening of their sound might put some people off. I try not to let my expectations of a band’s sound colour my enjoyment of their output. If they want to do some kind of blackened version of classic rock, then I’m all for it - so long as the songs are actually good.

And they are good. Very good. Strong recommend from me.
