Lorelle Meets The Obsolete - Balance

I'm sure not many people have heard of this band, but I've been eagerly anticipating a follow-up to their 2014 record since its release. And I'm excited to be able to recommend them.

These guys have managed to perfect the precarious balance that shoegazey, dream-poppy music has to maintain. Go too far one way, and it's overly sugary, and a bit corny. Too far the other way, and it's a hazy, noisy drone of nothingness.

When the porridge is just right, it's one of my favourite types of music.
