Tennis - Yours Conditionally

Tennis - Yours Conditionally

Tennis returns again with their trademark indie pop spin on the soft rock and pop sounds of the '70s and '80s. I loved their last album, and this one doesn't really change up the formula much at all, except that it's maybe a bit less focused on dance beats. It's obvious that Tennis are comfortable with their sound, and aren't particularly interested in updating it.

And why should they? They've mastered their style, with its old-fashioned production, its tight musicianship, and its subtly dynamic songwriting. And they bring it all together under the utterly gorgeous vocals of Alaina Moore. It works, and it doesn't need changing. It's fantastic.

Recommended if you're craving something sweet and soulful.
